John W. Mervilde

John Mervilde  represents clients throughout Indiana in the fields of personal injury, appellate practice, products liability, environmental insurance coverage, construction defects and injuries, employment law, and school law. He has significant jury trial experience in both federal and state courts. John has argued before the Indiana Supreme Court, the Indiana Court of Appeals, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.  He is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and serves on the IBA’s Solo and Small Firm Committee’s executive committee.  John earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1996, with a double major in political science and history.  He earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1999.

John lives in the Irvington neighborhood of Indianapolis with his wife Laura and their four sons. He is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where he has served on the Finance Commission, School Commission, and Parish Council.
